Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American-born ex-prodigy of tennis and a TV presenter. She became a tennis star because of her appearance as well as her fame. Anna Kournikova was a tennis star of Russia who was at one point in her time the largest female athlete in tennis. She is an ex-professional tennis player from Russia. At the age of 14 she became the youngest player ever to be awarded the Fed Cup and compete in professional tennis. Then, she was compelled to retire from professional tennis at the age of 21 due to severe back issues.
